Who we are

Essener Geldschrankfabrik, abbreviated EGF, was founded in 1906. As the only certified production company for value protection cabinets and safes in the Ruhr area, many customers place their trust in us.

Today Essener Geldschrankfabrik employs around 50 employees in production, sales and administration at two sites in Essen. We have specialised consultants and our own service, transport and installation team who provide a reliable customer service for our mechanical and electronic products.

Continuity and sustainability - that has always been the credo of EGF. Long-term relationships to our customers and to our employees are our capital.

Where we are going

Our attention has always been in the future. Since the middle of 2005 EGF has been under new management. EGF is a "young, old" company that feels committed to tradition, but has challenges and market changes in its sight. In this way, EGF will also respond to the requirements of its customers in the future with new user-specific product developments with the highest security standards.
