ESSA members meet in Frankfurt at their General Assembly

The face-to-face event in 2022 was well attended.

After an online event in 2020 and an hybrid event with a maximum of 75 participants in 2021 this year over 120 participants attended the ESSA General Assembly.

After an evening diner on the 9th of November 2022, the assembly started with three different workshops on sustainability in the security industry, ISO 9001 as well as the ESSA electronic high security lock survey.

The ESSA project on battery storage including the six different tests performed at RISE in Sweden and MPA Dresden in Germany was well received by the participants. Further topics included newest trends in ATM attacks as well as news from standardization where a new standard for smart connected safe locks (EN 17646) has been published.

After a two-year break, the ESSA International Leadership Award 2022 was presented to Roberto Porta.

The next ESSA General Assembly will be held on the 22 and 23 November 2023.
